During the launch of the Rebirth Collection customers can donate to the Global Sisters' project, Back Her Brilliance. Basque is once again proud to work and support Global Sisters in supporting Aboriginal women who are embarking on a business journey. Operating in urban, regional, and remote communities across Australia, Global Sisters' purpose is to make business possible for all women and support women who are unemployed or under-employed to become finically independent through business.

Attached with every Basque garment swing tag is the Global Sisters tag which informs customers of the current project details. Alongside this, posters will be put up in store and details placed on the website and magazine in which shoppers can find further information.
Due to generational life circumstances, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are not only experiencing challenges with education and employment but experience poorer health and reduced social and emotional wellbeing. Therefore, the “Back Her Brilliance” project aims to implement a model designed specifically for Aboriginal sisters that will make business possible for 60 Aboriginal women across Australia, establish learning hubs and online programs to support Aboriginal Sisters to ideate and launch new businesses and provide self-employment for Aboriginal women.

63% of Aboriginal Australians say that inadequate training and qualifications are a barrier to gaining employment and due to the long history of paternalistic government decisions, Indigenous people, especially women face daily challenges in not only business but in the community. We as a brand are reassessing how we can support Indigenous females across Australia and what action we can take that will have a positive contribution to our community. As a leading women’s workwear brand, we aim to do better and show our support by empowering all women that they can be financially resilient and strong.
